Grantley Estates is a strategic land company that specialises in maximising land value throughout the promotion, planning and development process. Working collaboratively with landowners, planning authorities, key local stakeholders and House Builders, we focus on the delivery of sites for housing and residential led mixed use schemes across the North West of England.
Grantley Estates typically agrees promotion partnerships, options or unconditional purchases of brownfield and greenfield sites and has experience delivering projects ranging from 14 houses to more than 1500+ residential units for large scale phased developments.

PHILIP S. LATHAM
CHAIRMAN
Phil is an entrepreneur who has enjoyed success across the Nightlife, Entertainment and Real Estate sectors.
He Co-founded an events and entertainment business in the early 1980’s which grew to become one of the largest Outdoor Events Businesses in the UK.
Phil began investing in, developing and constructing property in the early 1990’s. He is the Chairman of the Latham Property Group whose activities span Land Promotion, Construction, Bespoke Residential and Commercial Property Development.
KEN BRUCE
DIRECTOR
Ken qualified as an Architect in 1977 and has since enjoyed success as an entrepreneur founding and managing several architecture practices and property businesses.
Ken's career has focused on designing and securing planning consents for large, award winning, residential led schemes for House Builders and land promoters predominantly based in the North West of the UK.
He has 45+ years of experience in the industry and has secured planning consents for in excess of 10,000 housing units for a range of clients in the House Building industry including Redrow Plc and Bellway Homes.
PHILIP C. LATHAM
DIRECTOR
Phil graduated from Cambridge University with a 1st Class honours in Real Estate Finance then spent 5 years living in London working as a financial analyst for Amazon UK, investment analyst for the Reech Corporations Group - a real estate Hedge Fund and investment associate for Fiera Real Estate (formerly Palmer Capital) – a real estate private equity fund with £5bn of assets under management.
Phil has executed and managed £100m of investment into industrial, office, retail and leisure real estate sectors and secured £1bn of investment approval from capital partners for speculative projects including the public to private acquisition of a distressed corporate and development of a 750,000 sqft mixed use scheme on a central London site.
PHIL HARDWICKE
NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Phil served as Head Planning Officer at Sefton Metropolitan Council and has over 35 years of experience in the planning sector.
He now runs an independent planning consultancy providing advice to housing developers, private landowners and a wide range of other national and regional organisations.
Phil's experience ranges from influencing strategic policy at the national level, through to promoting small scale development proposals at the local level. His expertise allows Grantley Estates and their clients to minimise planning risk and maximise site value.
